HS2 today revealed the world-leading architects, designers and engineers that will help transform London Euston and deliver brand new landmark stations in Birmingham city centre, Solihull and London’s Old Oak Common - the largest new station building programme in the UK since the Victorian age.

£5 million will be invested in woodlands through the spine of England, from London to the West Midlands, following the launch of the HS2 Woodland Fund today Thursday 9 November.

Work to transform Euston station into a gateway to the capital fit for the 21^st century and deliver a brand new transport hub at Old Oak Common ready for the arrival of HS2, took a step forward today with the start of the search for the firms that will build the two London stations.

As part of preparations for Britain’s new high speed railway, HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd is starting to create its first new wildlife habitats anywhere along the line of route.

HS2 Ltd has revealed the internationally acclaimed architects on the shortlist for the prestigious stations design contracts for Birmingham Curzon Street and Birmingham Interchange, at the heart of the UK’s new high speed rail network.
