HS2 tunnel segment casting complete at Isle of Grain factory
03 Sep 2024- PACADAR UK, based on the Isle of Grain, have completed the casting of almost 60,000 concrete tunnel ring segments for HS2
 - They are being used to construct the Northolt Tunnel West which is almost 80% complete
 - Segments transported from Kent to HS2’s site by rail, with each giant freight train negating the need for 56 lorries on the road

HS2’s tunnelling into Birmingham reaches halfway point
28 Aug 2024- HS2’s giant tunnelling machine is halfway through its journey to build the 3.5-mile Bromford Tunnel
 - The 1,600 tonne machine called ‘Mary Ann’ has excavated and built 1.75 miles of tunnel between Water Orton and Washwood Heath in Birmingham
