02 Nov 2022- ‘Open Doors 2023’ will give young people the chance to go behind site hoardings on busy construction sites and learn about career opportunities across the industry
- Next year’s programme, taking place 13–18 March 2023, was launched at HS2’s Long Itchington Wood Tunnel site, attended by young people from Walsall College and Warwickshire College

In the last three months, the rapid pace of HS2’s construction has seen more than 2,300 people join the ‘orange army’ building HS2’s stations, viaducts, bridges and embankments, taking the current total workforce to just under 30,000.

Brackley Town FC clubhouse rebuilt thanks to £75k HS2 grant
20 Oct 2022- A newly released video shows how the club has used the grant to build ‘The Venue’, a new clubhouse replacing the original building which suffered fire damage in 2019.

Launch of HS2’s giant London tunnelling machine sparks local job opportunities
20 Oct 2022The launch of HS2’s giant tunnel boring machine, which set off on its five-mile journey from West Ruislip to Greenford on 6th October, has sparked new training and employment opportunities for residents in seven London boroughs.
