A family-run scaffolding business in Denham is going from strength to strength after delivering key HS2 contracts around the giant Tunnel Boring Machines that started on the project last month.

Ahead of its arrival into Staffordshire, the team leading the design and construction of Britain’s new railway, High Speed Two (HS2), is hitting the streets with a brand-new community roadshow.

Following the launch of HS2's first two giant tunnelling machines, engineers working on Britain’s new high speed railway have now begun excavating the first of five shafts that will provide ventilation and emergency access to the ten-mile long tunnels they are digging under the Chiltern hills.

HS2 Ltd’s annual Equality, Diversity and Inclusion report for 2020/21 shows that it continues to play a leading role in driving best practice and quality standards across the industry.

HS2 has today [Monday 19^th July 2021] revealed that its designers are on track to more than halve the amount of embedded carbon in one of the high speed rail project’s viaducts.
