• Hammersmith & Fulham Arts Festival will use the £74,500 grant to run a series of community-based creative sessions for Hammersmith & Fulham residents.

HS2’s latest reporting figures show it has smashed the 900 new apprentice starts milestone, with Camden resident, Leon, becoming the 900^th apprentice to play a part in delivering Britain’s new zero carbon railway.

HS2 has partnered with the Great British Bee Project (GBBP) to support the expansion of colonies of the threatened British Black Bee along the railway’s new Green Corridor.

• HS2’s workforce increased by more than 2,000 in the last quarter, with the construction of Britain’s new railway now supporting a record 24,800 jobs.

HS2 has opened the first stage of a 50-mile-long (80km) temporary access road that will link construction sites across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire and take pressure off local roads.
