HS2 Ltd today revealed the first images of its planned Oxford Canal Viaduct and is seeking views from the local community about the design of the viaduct between Banbury and Daventry. The full design can be explored in a virtual exhibition, which opened today.

HS2 today shortlisted bidders for its high voltage (HV) power supply systems.  The winning organisations will go on to deliver electrical systems covering 280km of the UK's new high speed rail link and enable millions of people to enjoy low carbon journeys between London, Birmingham and the north of England.

A company developing technology to reduce the amount of concrete used on HS2 has received a major funding boost that will accelerate and broaden the benefits of its involvement with the project.
